Monitors Overview
Track web, news, media, and trusted source mentions from one client workspace.
Monitors Overview
Monitors watch the outside world for topics your client cares about. Set a query once, choose where Eclipse should look, and review new results as they arrive.
Use Monitors for live market watching:
- competitor mentions
- funding, hiring, and product news
- customer pain points
- sector regulation
- partner, investor, or account signals
- topics you want CASi to use as source material
Each monitor belongs to the active client. Agencies can keep each client's market watch separate, with its own sources, tags, budget controls, and alerts.
What Monitors track
Each monitor starts with a search query. You can keep the query broad, or use a focused phrase when you want fewer, sharper results.
Monitors can search across four source groups:
- Web for pages, mentions, and current discussions.
- News for publisher coverage and article-style reports.
- Global media for wider international coverage.
- Trusted sources for source lists your team already relies on.
You can use one source group or combine several. Eclipse shows the coverage on each monitor so you can see what it checks.
How Monitors fit with the rest of Eclipse
Monitors are different from GEO, Competitors, and Reddit.
GEO tracks how AI engines mention your brand. Competitor Tracking builds a rival intelligence profile. Reddit watches selected communities. Monitors track any query you define, across broader sources.
When a result matters, you can save it, mark it as priority, or send it to Cortex. From there, CASi can use it in canvas research, article generation, social posts, or a direct analysis chat.
What you manage
