Planner
Plan article topics, briefs, approvals, and scheduled generation.
Planner
Planner turns upcoming article ideas into a managed content schedule. Use it when you want to organise topics before they become finished drafts.
Each planner row can hold the topic, title, structure, date, keyword, article type, owner, source, status, and generation actions.
Table view
Table view is best for planning a batch of articles.
You can:
- filter by topic, title, date, keyword, type, owner, source, or status
- sort columns
- edit planning fields inline
- ask CASi to enrich the topic, title, or structure
- prepare context before generation
- generate the article when the row is ready
- archive rows you no longer need
The source column shows where the row came from. Planner rows can come from Planner, Content Profiles, or Cortex.
Statuses
Planner rows use statuses to show where the article sits:
- Draft for early planning.
- Scheduled for rows with a generation date.
- Approved for rows ready to generate.
- Internal review for rows waiting on your team.
- Client review for rows waiting on client approval.
- Cancelled for planned work you have stopped.
- Rejected for ideas you have ruled out.
Calendar view
Calendar view shows scheduled rows by date. Switch between day, three-day, week, and month views.
You can drag scheduled rows to a new time. Eclipse saves the new schedule against the planner row and keeps the client timezone in mind.
Month view also lets you choose a time slot when you move a row. This keeps scheduled generation precise instead of only moving the date.
Active and archived rows
Use Active for current planning. Use Archived for rows you want out of the main view without deleting their history.
Archived rows are useful for old ideas, cancelled work, and previous planning cycles.
From planner to article
When a row is ready, generate the article from Planner. The finished draft appears in the content table for review, editing, and publishing.
For the editor workflow, see Writing Content.
