GEO Profiles

GEO Profiles define what Eclipse monitors across AI search engines. Each profile specifies the buyer queries, competitor brands, and platforms you want to track. The results feed into your GEO Dashboard and surface the competitive gaps your content can target.

What a profile contains

Each GEO Profile sets the scope of your AI visibility monitoring:

  • Queries representing the questions your buyers ask AI engines. These are recommendation-style queries, not traditional keyword searches.
  • Competitor brands to track alongside your own. Eclipse also discovers new competitors automatically through co-occurrence analysis.
  • Platforms to scan. You can track all ten AI engines or focus on specific ones.

Creating a profile

  1. Go to GEO Profiles under GEO in the left sidebar.
  2. Set up your queries, competitors, and platform selections.
  3. Save the profile.

You can create multiple GEO Profiles to track different segments of your market or different product lines.

Automatic competitor discovery

You don't need to know every competitor upfront. Eclipse's co-occurrence analysis flags brands the moment they start appearing in your category's AI answers. New competitors are identified and added to your monitoring automatically, so you're never blindsided by a rival you weren't tracking.

How profiles feed the dashboard

Each profile's weekly scan results roll into the GEO Dashboard. The dashboard aggregates data across all your active profiles, showing your overall visibility score, platform-by-platform breakdowns, and the competitive gaps worth targeting next.
