Slack

Connect Slack to receive Eclipse notifications and alerts directly in your team's channels.

Setting up the integration

1. Go to Integrations in the left sidebar.
2. Select Slack.
3. Authenticate with your Slack workspace.
4. Choose which channel Eclipse should post to.

What gets sent to Slack

• Reddit alerts for opportunities, negative brand mentions, and replies to published content. A minimum-score setting qualifies the opportunity alerts and the negative-mention alerts. Messages go out through background processing, so they follow that schedule.
• Notifications for important platform events.

Why Slack matters

Reddit opportunities are time-sensitive. A Slack message puts the thread in a channel the team already watches, once Eclipse has processed the alert. Connect the workspace first, then choose the channel on this integration. Reddit Engagement covers how those opportunities are scored.
