Contentful

Connect Contentful to publish articles directly from Eclipse's content editor to your Contentful spaces and environments.

Setting up the integration

1. Go to Integrations in the left sidebar.
2. Select Contentful.
3. Authenticate with your Contentful account.
4. Choose the space and environment you want to publish to.
5. Configure field mapping. Auto-mapping is available, or you can map fields manually to match your Contentful content model.

Publishing to Contentful

Once connected, Contentful appears as a publishing destination in the content editor. When you publish, select Contentful and choose the target space or environment. Formatting, headers, images, and schema are preserved.

Spaces and environments

Contentful organises content into spaces and environments. During setup, you select which space and environment Eclipse publishes to. If you need to publish to multiple spaces, you can configure separate connections.

Field mapping

Eclipse maps its content fields to your Contentful content type fields. This includes title, body (rich text), meta description, featured images, and alt tags. Customise the mapping to fit your content model's structure.
