Google Search Console
Connect Google Search Console to bring search query data into Eclipse's Analytics page. See which queries drive traffic to your content, track impressions, clicks, click-through rates, and average positions without leaving Eclipse.
Setting up the integration
- Go to Integrations in the left sidebar.
- Select Google Search Console.
- Authenticate with your Google account.
- Select the property you want to connect.
What you get
Once connected, Google Search Console data appears in the Analytics page:
- Search queries showing which terms people use to find your content.
- Impressions indicating how often your pages appear in search results.
- Clicks tracking how many people visit your site from search.
- Click-through rate for each query.
- Average position showing where your pages rank for each term.
How it connects to your strategy
Search Console data feeds back into your keyword and content strategy. If a query you're not tracking starts generating impressions, it might be worth adding to your keyword list. If a tracked keyword has high impressions but low clicks, your content might need a stronger title or meta description.
