Social PublishingBuffer

Buffer

Publish social drafts from Eclipse through your connected Buffer channels.

Buffer

Connect Buffer when you want Eclipse social posts to move into your existing Buffer workflow.

Once connected, Buffer channels appear as publishing destinations in the social post editor. You choose the destination, select the action, and Eclipse sends the approved post through Buffer.

Connect Buffer

  1. Go to Integrations.
  2. Find Buffer under Social.
  3. Connect your Buffer account.
  4. Confirm the channels you want available for the active client.

Buffer is configured per client workspace, so agencies can keep each client's destinations separate.

Publish actions

Buffer supports four actions from Eclipse:

  • Save as draft keeps the post in Buffer without adding it to a channel queue.
  • Add to queue uses the next available queue slot for each selected channel.
  • Schedule sets an exact date and time.
  • Publish now sends the post immediately.

The social post editor shows the destinations already published, scheduled, failed, or still available.

Scheduling

When you schedule a post, Eclipse uses the client's timezone. Check the scheduled time before you confirm.

Status and errors

After publishing, Eclipse shows the Buffer status for each destination. If a destination fails, keep the post open, review the error, and retry after fixing the issue.
